Points
Curryillion scoring, from 100 down to 10
Each prompt scores once. The official tiers are One in a Curryillion 100, Half Court 70, Three Pointer 45, Free Throw 25 and Layup 10. A timeout is a Brick and scores 0. Seven prompts make the ceiling 700. Each prompt hides exactly one 100-point answer.
The five tiers
| Tier | Points | Mark | What the rules say |
|---|---|---|---|
| One in a Curryillion | 100 | π₯ | The single hidden answer on that prompt. |
| Half Court | 70 | πͺ | A very rare answer few players name. |
| Three Pointer | 45 | π¦ | Uncommon, but gettable. |
| Free Throw | 25 | π© | A familiar answer many players name. |
| Layup | 10 | β¬ | The obvious answer almost everyone types first. |
| Brick | 0 | β¬ | The clock ran out. |
The shot names are a distance metaphor: a layup is the common answer, a half-court heave is rare, and the hidden 100 is the one almost nobody says. The official page does not assign metres or feet to those names, so I do not either.
Same tier on every prompt
If every prompt landed the same tier, the board would total:
| If every prompt is⦠| Board total |
|---|---|
| One in a Curryillion (100) | 700 |
| Half Court (70) | 490 |
| Three Pointer (45) | 315 |
| Free Throw (25) | 175 |
| Layup (10) | 70 |
| Brick (0) | 0 |
One public score, labelled as one source
A post on r/NBAVibes shows Curryillion #2 with 350 out of 700 and the grid πͺπͺπ¦πͺπ¦π©π©. That is one player on one day. I do not treat 350 as a typical score, and I found no second source for that grid. Status: 1 source.
What the name means
One in a Curryillion is the top tier, not the title of the game. Landing it seven times is 700, which the how-to-play page calls very hard to do. The first correct answer is final, so opening with the safe layup means you cannot climb to 100 on that prompt. The trade-off is on the tips page.
Krillion's fan wiki describes six tiers and a 7,000 metre scale (1 fan source). Those numbers belong to a different game. Curryillion stays on the five numbers above.
Questions
What is a Curryillion worth in points?
One in a Curryillion is the tier name for the single hidden 100-point answer on a prompt. It is not a separate currency.
What is a good score?
No average or percentile is published. A board of all 70s is 490. A public share of edition 2 was 350 out of 700, from one player.
